When you want to eat out what are most important things you look at? Is it the interior of the place, the atmosphere, the price or something else? These things do matter for people as noone likes visiting a place which has no crowd, a terrible atmosphere and horrible food. Some wine lovers even judge the restaurant by the size of its wine racks.

Most restaurants these days are changing the way their interior looks because of the factor that people like modernised look than the traditional especially in central London area. They are changing their colours, wall papers, tables, chairs, tableware to shot glasses. This is a good thing for restaurants if they wish to find their new customers because the research in December 2009 showed that people are attracted to contemporary looking restaurants and bars. As we are moving on to the modern world, it’s not just big car brands or Apple producing new designs and products. Even pubs, bars, clubs and restaurant are changing their interior to develop their new customers.

The competition is massive in hospitality industry especially in the economic crisis lots of businesses have been closed down and many jobs have been lost. Hence these industries are still spending money on their investment because they want to last and they want to succeed, so we do have to hand it to them. Besides none of us have stopped eating just because we have been economy crisis now have we?

Me and my friends used to go out to eat in a weekly basis and we are still doing that, economy crisis hasn’t really stopped us from eating but these days we do look at the place we choose to go to. Where as before it was like we see a place, we might as well try it and then decide but now we want to go to a place which has a good environment as we realized it is our money we are spending and we want to spend it in a place where we can enjoy the place, food, crowd and service. We definitely look at the interior because it just catches your eyes. So what do you look for? I would love to hear your opinions.
