The time is coming round soon when I will be thinking about planning my next holiday.

Although I have travelled to quite a few countries, there are still quite a few I would like to explore. I have visited Florida on many occasions and although I absolutely love all the theme parks, it is such a hectic holiday, that by the time I return home, I feel like I need another holiday!

I have some friends who holiday in the Caribbean every year. Once Christmas is done and dusted, they pack their suitcases for their all inclusive 2 week holiday. It sounds perfect to me, where better a destination to be in the gloomy winter months than the Caribbean where you will be blessed with the sun shining and the daytime temperature holding at a steady 25 degrees. Of course the fact that the locals are well known for their wonderful hospitality really helps.

Naturally, it’s not all about just putting your feet up for 2 weeks and topping up your suntan. On a Caribbean holiday there are lots of different activities you could try. Maybe the time has come when you try something completely different whilst on holiday? Why not have a go at snorkelling, imagine being able to swim in those clear, turquoise waters amongst all those beautiful tropical fish. It sounds absolutely like my kind of holiday.

I have heard that Caribbean Spa Holidays are a real favourite with us Brits. Of course we have Spa Hotels in England, but given the choice, I think the Caribbean would win it for me every time. Give me a bit of sunshine and a glass of rum, and I’m more than happy.

If you don’t fancy the Caribbean, there are plenty of other lovely destinations to go to this winter.

Perhaps you could try Goa on the West coast of India. With over 66 miles of beautiful beaches to choose from you will never be short of finding some sand. However, if building sand castles just isn’t for you, then why not try one of the many Spa Holidays in India. With such a wonderful combination of weather, scenery and relaxation, I think you have everything covered.
