Faith healing is known to be one of the most complex subjects. It includes the topics about the healing from the ailments only because of faith without any medicines. That means if you have faith you will be healed but what of those people who do not have faith but are still healed? We do know that the process of healing that takes place because of a combination of faith and healing can be attributed to a supernatural reason called as faith healing and there is not much medicine involved in the process. There can be a strong Christian link associated with the miracles or healings that take place. But in other religions also you will find such people who are blind followers of the faith healing and use pranic healing, crystal healing and reiki even for the chronic diseases.

Most of the believers of faith healing are also the followers of the supernatural powers. Most of the Christian who read the bible regularly, you will observe, are the followers of preachers and faith healers; as they do believe in the miracles. This is because the bible is filled with stories about faith healers and prophets who used to heal by faith healing in the same manner and who are now revered for being saints. Christianity has also a separate branch, followers of which are the blind followers of the belief that they need no help of medical science and only faith healing is enough for them to heal all kind of illnesses.

Faith healing is good but it has proved to be dangerous for some of the blind followers who lost their kids and kin due to lack of medical treatments and have also been sued for that. This amounts to medical carelessness but there are several legal healers who have healed people and who are still around working their miracles on people all through the ages. There can also be a level of spiritual abuse too where you will find that some charlatans will propose faith healing only in an effort to cheat people of their hard earned money by exploiting their faith.

You will also find some god-men in every religion claiming to be in direct contact of the God and preach themselves as the charismatic leaders of the society. They try faith healing on their followers preaching this as the gift of God to them although they have no scientific reason to prove their claim. You will also find that rages and such believers will not allow doctors to treat their sick people and they will not allow the use of medicines and blood transfusions because of their faith.

But you cannot scorn anyone’s faith. There have been cases where people have actually recovered from severe sickness simply because of their meditation and process of prayer to heal themselves. We still don’t know how they work but for some people, prayer can actually work as a excuse reducing pain and causing healing by soothing the body and the mind. This too can be called as faith healing

Besides the world is filled with lots of things that we don’t understand…faith healing could just be one of them!
